“Canada’s Economic Action Plan saw several hundred million dollars worth of construction projects for the City of Ottawa.  These projects had to be done quickly so the funds would get into the local markets creating jobs.  Marco was a key part of the team that managed this program and was asked to: set up a project team to implement the work, establish communication protocols so that both internal and external clients where well informed, liaise with provincial and federal departments for official reporting on several fronts - financial, schedule, job creating, etc., organize media events, etc.  Thanks to Marco’s leadership, the City and Infrastructure Services successfully delivered 99.1% of the 100+ projects valued at over $400M which was in addition to the existing regular $500M program of work.”
